Saint-Jacques Tower was built in the 16th century as part of a church dedicated to Saint James. The rest of the church has been demolished at the end of the 18th century. The tower has been entirely restored a few years ago; we probably are the first to see it this way (10 years ago it was mostly black with dirt and its statues were crumbling).
