A beautiful building and a wonderful blue sky

What a beautiful building! the doo-dads to the left don't bother me at all, but I always want these big, majestic buildings to be "square"... What if you took it in completely the other direction and did one of those trendy strongly-angled shots? It could work here!

Fabulous building and what a blue sky!! Definitely worth revisiting to get shots at varying angles :)

@ Sandy Hancock : Thanks for your advice. Standing on the wall was not an option; you can't see it on the picture, but there are another low wall and a ditch before it.

I tried several different framings, but this was the only one I tried which both showed the interesting parts of the church and had nothing distracting at the wrong place. The one I wanted first had a truck in front of the church.

I know there must be a way to make the place look better though. I will have to find some time someday.

Spectacular building, but the low wall, driveway and modern building to the left don't add to the image for me. It might have been worth standing on top of the little wall to lessen the perspective distortion, and framing the shot to include more of that wonderful blue sky.
