Paris by Night, FA* 24 edition

Just a quick shot I took from my window after I got back from my rehearsal. I mostly wanted to see if I could get starbursts from the FA* 24; I can but the 8-pointed shape looks a bit weird, almost artificial, with this kind of composition.

    I like the stark film noir look but I'm confused by the subject - why are those windows at different heights?

    Definitely a film feel to this, but I'm thinking more that evil is lurking in the darkness. Like this a lot.

    @ UncleVanya : The windows just belong to different buildings, even though they look very much alike. Most of the street has been built at the same time by the same architects, or so it looks like.
